- Chữa cảm lạnh, ho: Nửa muỗng bột nghệ hòa trong 30 ml sữa ấm, uống mỗi ngày để chữa ho. Khi bị cảm lạnh thì đun nhẹ hỗn hợp này trên bếp, ngửi và hít hơi.

- Chữa bong gân sưng đau nhức: Tinh Bột nghệ trộn với chanh và muối thành bột nhão rồi bó vào chỗ bong gân, làm trong vài lần.

- Chữa thủy đậu trong trường hợp mụt nước mới mọc: Củ nghệ nướng thành tro, lấy tro hòa trong 1 tách nước lọc, bôi vào các chỗ thủy đậu. Nên sắc nước bột nghệ và uống thêm sẽ giúp mau lành bệnh.

Kon Tum had been our favourite town so far and we could easily have spent another couple of days just hanging around. Instead we proceeded with the final day of our tour departing at 7am en route to Hoi An.

Our first stop was at Dak To which had seen intense fighting shortly before the US withdrawal from Vietnam. We visited a war memorial which receives visits from American war veterans. A little further on we stopped at what was a major runway for US planes during the war which is today used as a stretch of land for drying sweet potato and coffee beans. In the distance Phu pointed out Charlie Hill where the South Vietnamese had held strong for six weeks during the war before the VC finally destroyed them on their march towards Saigon. As we drove through a section of motorway construction it was strange to see workers carrying metal detectors which are still necessary in the likely event that they come across any of the 15 million tonnes of bombs that were dropped on Vietnam during the war.

You may also need to pass through Dien Bien Phu if you are coming or going through Tay Trung/Sop Hun, the border crossing with Laos, 34 km to the southwest. This provides and interesting new route for travelling from northern Laos directly to Hanoi without having to dip down to Luang Prabang or Vientiane

It's still sparsely-used by foreigners, but you can get a Laotian visa-on-arrival when crossing into Laos, and, as ever, most nationalities must already have obtained a valid Vietnamese visa when crossing the other way.

The best option for crossing into Laos is to take the bus direct from Dien Bien Phu to Muang Khua in Phongsali province. The bus leaves at 05:30 and costs 88,000 VND. There's little reason to just arrange travel to the border but if you want to your best bet is to take a xe om which will cost around 130,000.

A pleasant, sleepy town, Phong Nha is nestled at the foot of a series of limestone cliffs surrounded by incredible national park land and a series of world record breaking caves.

Situated roughly 45km to the northwest of the provincial capital of Dong Hoi, the limestone massifs surrounding Phong Nha are similar to those seen on the Andaman coast of Thailand and central Laos around Vang Vieng and Vieng Xai and mark the stark change in the geology of Vietnam as you pass from south to north Vietnam tours

The original "discovery" of the cave system within Phong Nha park is credited to a Frenchman in the late nineteenth century, but it wasn't until 1990 that the magnificent Phong Nha cave was surveyed by a team of British and Vietnamese cavers. Then in 1992 came the title of the world's longest river cave with a length of 7.729km and the first 600 metres of the cave was opened up for public viewing.

Subsequently came the "discovery" of Son Doong -- most recently in 1991 by a local villager named Mr Ho Khanh and this cave, the largest "yet" to be discovered, surveyed in 2009 and which was first opened to tourists in 2013 paying an extremely hefty fee to be the first through. Overall only 220 visitors are allowed into the cave system per year. The cave is recognised as the largest in the world and houses enormous stalagmites of up to 80m in height and fossils believed to be over 300 million years old.

As far as Phong Nha is concerned, the caverns that are open to tourists are quite close to the mouth of the cave. Just as you enter, to the right, the boat puts out on a landing giving on to a set of stairs that leads to two caverns, or grottos. At 400 million years of age, these are some of the oldest limestone formations in the world.

If you're one who considers caves to be nothing more than a hole in the ground, you have to see these caves to realise just how mistaken you are. There are caves, there are big caves and there are gigantic, world record-breaking caves. You'll find some of the Planet Earth's best of the latter category around Phong Nha. If you've only got time for one cave in your holidays -- or your life -- make it one of these.

Phong Nha town is located along the main road from highway 14, stretching 2 km to the boat landing for the caves. Thanks to a semi-recent surge in tourism, accommodation is generally good and not too expensive for an area as remote as this. While you'll find typical Vietnamese style hotels lining the highway through town, a fair few homestays and backpacker dorms are settled in the more peaceful and picturesque countryside and are also on the table. These tend to offer a better nights sleep and on-your-doorstep adventure, rather than the former. So skip the town hotels!

Also, while it may be tempting to think "one cave, one night" Phong Nha really deserves at least a few days if you're really planning on getting the most out of the area's sights and surroundings.

In October and November the Phong Nha area can see heavy flooding due to a combination of being on low ground and typhoon season and while the rainy season actually runs from October through to February, October and November are the worst time to visit and some accommodation may well be closed at this time of year -- so check beforehand. The best time to visit Phong Nha is in March and April -- between May and September is can be extremely hot so March and April is the sweet spot.

A new ATM (the town's only one) is located in the centre on Phong Nha. The post office is located across the street from the Saigon-Phongnha hotel near the boat landing at the end of town. Internet is freely available at most guesthouses, although reception can be spotty and frustratingly slow.

5. Máy lạnh Toshiba có tốt không ?
A. Ưu điểm máy lạnh Toshiba :
Máy điều hòa Toshiba  vốn là máy điều hoá rất được ưa chuộng ở VN vì có ưu điểm nổi bật là độ ồn thấp và máy chạy cực êm, đặc biệt không ăn gian công suất . được thiết kế chức năng tận dụng hết những luồng khí lạnh ở dàn lạnh đồng thời làm khô dàn lạnh sau khi người sử dụng tắt máy.Vì vậy sau khi người sử dụng tắt máy thì quạt dàn lạnh sẽ chạy khoảng chừng từ 6 đến 10 phút mới chính thức ngắt toàn bộ máy.
B. Nhược điểm máy lạnh Toshiba :
Tuy nhiên Toshiba là hãng duy nhất hiện nay thiết kế board mạch điều chỉnh lưu lượng gió ngay trên khu vực motor quạt giàn lạnh. Khi về sinh nên chú ý  đừng để nước dính vào board mạch này gây chết board. Motor quạt dàn lạnh thường là motor kín nước , nhưng boar mạch điều khiền lưu lượng gió của Toshiba lại ....không kín nước !
6. Máy lạnh Sharp có tốt không ?
A. Ưu điểm máy lạnh Sharp :
Mẫu mã nhìn thoáng qua có thể bị lầm tưởng là hàng của National (tên trước của Panasonic). Chất lượng rất tốt, mẫu mã đẹp, giá thành khá rẻ. Làm lạnh cực nhanh giải tỏa cơn nóng trong những ngày oi bức. Máy làm lạnh nhanh  và chạy rất êm. Hàng của Sharp lại có ưu điểm là làm lạnh rất sâu đối với những dòng máy từ 1HP trở lên. 
B. Nhược điểm máy lạnh Sharp :
Mặc dù Sharp có chất lượng tốt, và giá thành khá rẻ, nhưng nhãn hàng này chuyên quá nhiều mặt hàng, và ít quảng bá về máy lạnh, nên ít người biết đến.
7. Máy lạnh Sanyo có tốt không ?
A.    Ưu điểm máy lạnh Sanyo :
Nhìn chung Sanyo có nhiều mẫu mã , chất lượng ổn định. Có thêm 1 số chức năng như hút ẩm và làm mát bằng ion khá tiện dụng. Giá cả hợp lý, chất lượng phù hợp dùng cho gia đình. Thiết kế khá trang nhã và lịch sự

B. Nhược điểm máy lạnh Sanyo :
Hàng giá rẻ chất lượng không tốt lắm, độ bền chưa phải là tốt nhất. Với thiết kế dòng Non-Inverter về bộ phận UnitOutdoor thì có thể nói Sanyo là làm hư máy rất nhanh. Cụ thể là do chỗ đặt cục Capa quá gần Compressor khiến Capa không chịu nổi nhiệt nóng gây hỏng Capa liên tục. Đây cũng là cách ngấm để “giết” bộ máy của bạn ngay sau hết tgian bảo hành.
8. Máy lạnh Midea có tốt không ?
